The Lauda Ferrari 288 GTO

Earlier this year, I was given the distinct honor of spending two days with the final Ferrari 288 GTO ever made; the car that was personally requested by Enzo Ferrari to be built for Formula 1 racing legend Niki Lauda, six months after the original run of GTOs had finished production, making this car the only 1986 288 GTO in the world. This particular vehicle has such untold historical value, it was a priviledge to have been commissioned to photograph this work of art. Our goal was twofold; one, to shoot the cover article for the July 2016 issue of Octane Magazine, and two- to simply produce the most comprehensive collection of photos of one of the rarest 'modern' Ferrari supercars in the world. I hope I accomplished the latter! Shot for the incredible team at www.joesackeyclassics.com

Earlier this year, I was given the distinct honor of spending two days with the final Ferrari 288 GTO ever made;
the car that was personally requested by Enzo Ferrari to be built for Formula 1 racing legend Niki Lauda, six
months after the original run of GTOs had finished production, making this car the only 1986 288 GTO in the world.
It even still bears the original Italian delivery license plate, thirty years later.

This particular vehicle has such untold historical value, it was a privilege to have been commissioned to photograph this work of art.
Our goal was twofold; one, to shoot the cover article for the July 2016 issue of Octane Magazine, and two- to simply produce the most comprehensive collection of photos of one of the rarest 'modern' Ferrari supercars in the world. I hope I accomplished the latter!

Below are the final 32 images.
