Missing In Iceland
Six days in Iceland with a Mercedes-Benz GLE 250d...
In early November 2016, I flew to Iceland and set out on an incredible road trip with friend and photographer Easton Chang to photograph a 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE 250d over the course of six days for Mercedes-Benz Australia. Combined, we produced well over 100 finished photographs of the car as we drove 1,941 kilometers around the island, roughly following Route 1 from Reykjavík; the following 55 images portray our adventure in chronological order, as told through my lens.
Easton produced his own gorgeous set, and despite utilizing the same car in the same locations, often shooting simultaneously, our individual eye for composition and retouching has allowed us to create two distinctly different collections. Our mutual goal was to capture the moment as we saw it in-camera; natural light, natural reflections, natural atmosphere. To keep the memory as authentic as possible.
